Dang

I just hate it when Christmas is over. I mean I really LOVE the holidays and how relaxing everything is, so to see it all come to an end is a real bummer, know what I mean. We do have a whole other week to enjoy, so quit complaining, right!
Christmas was the best. We put up a puzzle and just left it right in the kitchen so we couldn't help but do it. I haven't ever been able to do that since we started our family, because, kids...enough said. But this year they are all old enough that they actually enjoyed sitting down and TALKING while seeing how many pieces they could put in. It was really great.
Christmas Eve we did all the traditional stuff up at Sylvie's, which is always so fun! Caroling, dinner, Twas The Night Before Christmas in all its forms, from Raddon's traditional version, to Uncle Scott's Hillbilly rendition (hilarious!), Steve's Grinch, and the Scrooge. Then home to open new pj's and our ride to look at the lights. Awesome. Then waking at 4 or 5 to open presents and relaxing the rest of the day. Nothing better.
Hope everyone else out there had as good a day as we did.
Now I am listening to a house full of teenagers (no kidding, about 15) playing a dice game and laughing, screaming and laughing some more. The holidays are the greatest!
