Sheez, what a rough week. I'm glad it's over! Losing my little student was really rough, and then having to talk at her funeral was even worse. Life is so precious. I will miss little Josey. She was a sweet little girl.
Changing gears...Mandy comes home in 1 week. The countdown is on! We are all looking so forward to seeing her again. Our home hasn't felt right for over 4 months now. We keep asking each other "whose missing?" and then we realize we aren't whole anymore :(.
Just a side note, I love the First Presidency. They are good, righteous men and I love listening to them. We are lucky to have a Prophet. It brings comfort knowing that there is a man who receives direct revelation from Heavenly Father regarding the whole church. Even though he doesn't tell us something new everytime we hear from him, I love listening to his words of council, he helps me try harder to be a better person each time I hear from him.
Okay, it seems like I am rambling tonight, but I am grateful for life, family and Christmas. Enjoy your families, you just never know...
for now........
